Pangbourne House is a Montessori nursery and school located in Notting Hill, West London. They provide education and care for children aged 2 1/2 to 5 1/2. At Pangbourne House we understand that children need to be happy and confident before they are ready to start learning.
It is therefore our ethos to build the children’s self-esteem; to make them feel loved and safe. Once this is achieved the teachers can enable the children to follow their interests, to play independently, whilst learning social skills and beginning the preparation for all that is needed before moving onto their ‘big’ school.
This will include enhancing the development of literacy and numeracy skills. Exploring and experimenting with sounds,words and texts and developing mathematical ideas and methods to solve practical problems.
