LJS Nursery School

The LJS Nursery School is a nursery school located in St John’s Wood, London. It is part of The Liberal Jewish Synagogue, which is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. The nursery school provides individual and family services.The LJS Nursery School is an Ofsted “outstanding” school, which was established 20 years ago by the current headteacher to provide a nurturing and creative atmosphere to inspire young children’s minds, curiosity, and imagination.
We promote children’s social, emotional, physical and communication skills through a play based EYFS curriculum attuned to the individual child’s pattern of development. We warmly welcome children of all faiths and celebrate multi-cultural education.
School enrichment classes include Music, Dance, Yoga, Arts and Crafts, Science, Cooking, Forest School, Physical Education and a European language. We feed into local state schools, and the best, sought after, selective schools, supporting parents with school choices and preparation.
