Kido Clerkenwell - 141 Central Street

Kido Clerkenwell offers one of the best early years education programmes. We are in the heart of London, within walking distance from the City, Barbican, Old Street and Farringdon/Clerkenwell.The nursery has a SENCO who is committed to the children and has worked closely with families. The manager has experience with EHCP’s and STP’s too. She is currently completing her EYITT and will complete the Level 4 SENCO course the following September.
All staff have monthly CPD training, and have the opportunity for internal and external training. The majority of the team are bilingual too!
We have experience of working with several children with severe and complex needs. We continue to work with families whose children have additional needs and use the FIS to support families and children.
We run daily interventions, including movement breaks, attention buckets, and speech and language sessions to model language to the children. We are committed to going above and beyond for the children to give them the best possible outcomes in life. We continually reflect on our practice and are fluid to maintain the best outcomes for the staff and children.
We are very fortunate to work closely with the Area SENco as well as the Local Authority Link Advisory.
