We aim to meet children’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs in a safe, friendly environment. Our SENCO has Level 3 Certificate for Early Years Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCOs) in PVI settings and she has attended SENCO induction training with Islington.
One staff member has attended PECS; Sensory Circuits training; Speech and Language development training. One staff member has gained a Level 3 SENCO certificate and a second staff member is currently studying it.
We have experience in working with a range of SEN needs, e.g. autistic spectrum condition, complex syndromes/disorders etc.
Short term plans are in place and children’s needs are met by planning focus learning experiences that support children’s learning and development.
