The nursery is purpose-built and offers flexible and full day care from birth to 5 years old. The layouts of the three rooms are designed to enhance free-flow play and learning opportunities and all have direct access to the outdoor classroom.
This spacious room gives babies the opportunity to practice their early movement skills and develop their crawling and walking. Soft, cosy areas are set up around the room for stories and sensory play as well as group activities and construction. Babies can explore textural and messy play supported by qualified practitioners.
Babies sit together and build on their social interactions during mealtimes.
Gnome Home: An indoor physical play area including stairs, a slide and platform for the babies to explore their physical abilities within a safe environment. The babies have freedom to access their own covered outdoor area to enjoy the fresh air and experiment with their world.
Children move into the Starfish room when they are around two years old. The room Layout provides toddlers with the opportunity to explore messy, imaginative and social play whilst having fun. Books, crayons and educational resources provide endless opportunities.
Dolphin Room – Within this room children develop the skills necessary to support them in their move to school through carefully planned, fun activities. Children’s independence will flourish as they access a range of educational resources preparing them for their future school environment.
Messy play is encouraged as an important part of children’s learning so these activities are available daily with sand/water play, painting, play-dough and other creative opportunities.
Drop off and collection parking is available.
A catering company is used to provide freshly cooked, healthy meals for the children every day.
The children have direct access to a large adventure classroom where the children can continue their learning and development and can be used in all weathers.
We operate a ‘free flow’ system allowing the children to independently access both the indoor and outdoor classrooms throughout the day.
