Our SENCO has over 30 years of experience of working with children, families and other professionals. We are committed to ensuring all children are offered the opportunity to reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on working in partnership with families and our continued inclusive working practices. We are proud of our links within Islington and the good relations we have built with other professionals in the Borough.
We pride ourselves on always ensuring all staff have access to and have attended CPD courses, these include ASD, speech and language delay, sensory needs, emotional and mental health and physical needs. We will always seek to access training in order to fully support our current co-hort. We feel it is imperative that staff have training and/or experience for any future children and families.
We have experience of working with children with multiple complex needs and have made good links with many professionals as well as the Islington Area SENCO team.
Our team have worked with and supported families of children with ASD, physical needs, communication and interaction needs, social and emotional needs. We strive to ensure all children and their families are able to access support to meet their needs.
We offer small group sessions to assist with language delay/support to all children who require input in this area. We ensure that we work alongside and with the SALT’s and follow their guidance.
We have built excellent links with the professionals in this field. We always ensure that links are a two way thing and will ensure that all support and guidance are followed.
