Welcome to the website of Maples Children’s CentreMaples Nursey School and Children’s Centre offers high quality day care for children from 2 – 4 years. We have three well-resourced attractive rooms and three out door play areas for the children. We work closely with families to understand children’s strengths and interests and strive to develop their skills in all areas of learning. We have a strong focus on the Characteristics of Effective Learning, these form the habits and behaviours that support children to discover, think, create and solve problems to become life long learners.
The Children’s Centre provides support to families through stay and play sessions, baby groups and ESOL classes.We are an inclusive nursery setting and offer a range of opportunities to support the development of all children. High staff:pupil ratios, a fully qualified staff team, a range of intervention strategies and excellent collaboration with families and other professionals, such as speech therapist and educational psychologist means we offer high quality, individualised support to children with special educational needs and disabilities.
