Little Haven Childcare was born out of the desire to create a childcare facility that offered nurturing, secure and individualised care for little people. In our journey to find good childcare for our own twin daughters, we became deeply unsatisfied with the childcare provisions on offer. We wanted childcare that would support our twin daughters with structure and care in an unstructured way. We wanted childcare that could be flexible and supportive to our working needs. We wanted childcare that could be nurturing, affordable that we could trust. We searched very long and very hard, with a few mishaps along the way. We then decided that we would combine the best of what we saw to create our own setting hence, Little Haven was born. I am a qualified English teacher, who has worked in a number of inner city schools. My husband is an engineer who has worked for Metronet for five years, and we have three beautiful daughters. We are childcare service that embraces and delights in the personality of each child by meeting their individual needs guided by the principles of The Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer a warm, interesting learning environment which nurtures your child’s social development, by allowing them freedom to choose and time to discover their place in the world.
