St Augustine’s Nursery is located at the heart of a multi-cultural community in Highbury, London N5.Our setting welcomes children with SEND and we are committed to working with parents and other professionals to provide good inclusive practice.
Our Senco gets support and advice from the Islington link Area SENCO. She attends regular trainings and SEN Forums to keep up to date.
All our staff attend regular training to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
We run small language enrichment groups and 1-to-1 Special Times to support children with speech and language delay and English as an Additional Language. We use Makaton and visual aids.
